Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is likely to announce the results of the second year Intermediate by June 15 and first year results by June 20.

According to the TSBIE sources, the spot valuation exercise of correction of 53 lakh answer scripts of the second and first year Intermediate courses is coming to close on May 30.

It may be mentioned here that the final annual theory examination of the first and second year Intermediate Public Examiantions-2020 was held from March 4 to 23.

But, one examination of the second year is yet to be conducted, for which, the TSBIE has scheduled it on June 3.

Speaking to The Hans India, a TSBIE senior official said that steps have been taken to conduct the pending examination without fail. "There are nearly 700 students who have to take the examination in two subjects on June 3.

Intimation to all the students has been sent and inter-state movement passes have been issued for those who have to come from other states, he added. Scrutiny of answer scripts will start from May 31.

This ensures that there are no shortcomings. Random scrutiny of the answer scripts would be carried out. "The coding and decoding of the answer scripts and the OMR sheets will be followed by running the results data on Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), an advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology.

This is, to double-check and to avoid any shortcomings and ensure that the results data is full-proof," he said.
