Telangana suppressing rights of migrant workers: Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao on Saturday said that the State government is suppressing the rights of the migrant workers and filing cases on those who are trying to protect their rights.

Addressing the media, he said that while migrant workers of Siricilla have taken permission to go home, Minister KT Rama Rao stopped their transportation. He made it clear that Congress would not tolerate highhanded behavior of the Chief Minister.

He said that cases have been filed on him as he was trying to protect the rights of migrant workers who wanted to go home.
