Telangana Tribal University to be established with Rs 800 Crore

Hyderabad: A fully equipped Telangana Tribal University which will be funded by the central government is set to build with Rs 800 Cr. The University project has been hanging since 2014. It was first promised at the time of AP state reorganization Act.

While the Telangana Government requested Union HRD minister to start the academic year of Tribal University in its temporary campus located at Mulugu district, officials said that a fully equipped University will be coming in 300 acres in Mulugu.

ST welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod submitted a letter to HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal regarding the permission to start the academics of the year 2020-21. HRD officials would soon give a reply regarding the start of classes and also on the reservations of local St's in the University.
