Telangana: Woman gang-raped, murdered in Jangaon

In a sordid incident, a woman was gang-raped and killed by unidentified assailants here at Jangaon of erstwhile Warangal district on Tuesday.

The villagers of Shamirpet found the woman's body under a culvert and informed the police who after preliminary investigation suspected that she was raped and murder.

According to the reports, the woman got married 14 years ago and her husband was residing in Hyderabad with another woman. Depressed over it, she is learned to have addicted alcohol.

A case was registered by the police.
