Tension mounts at Adilabad after MLA's brother attack forest official

Tension mounted at Sarsala village in Kaghaznagar after MLA Koneru Konappa's brother and Adilabad ZP Vice Chairman Koneru Krishna Rao attacked forest officials. The farmers along with the follower's of Krishna attacked the officials while carrying out afforestation works under Kaleshwaram project as a part of the Haritha Haram programme.

Forest Range Officer (FRO) Anitha was seriously injured in the attack and has been shifted to Kaghaznagar hospital for treatment. Her condition is said to be stable by the doctors.

Speaking to media, Forest Divisional Officer (FDO) Raja Ramana Reddy condemned the attacked and said that the officers were attacked while on duty. He added that serious action would be taken on the attackers.
