Terrorism has no religion, says ALIF

Nampally: Condemning the terrorist attack in two of the New Zealand's mosques, ALIF (Al Lisaan Islamic Foundation) held that the terrorism has no communal bent, and any brain-washed man could fall prey to the doctrine and become a terrorist.

Speaking to media persons at its office, the president of ALIF and advocate Mohammed Nizam Ali Khan said the reason behind this terrorist attack in one of the most peaceful countries was Islamophobia and the atmosphere created in the aftermath of 9/11.

He said another possibility was the feeling of being endangered among the whites in Europe, as several were accepting Islam.

He wondered as to how media was not hounding Trump, as the killer had praised him and his policies just minutes before the attack.

"The latest attack shows that Muslims do not hold monopoly of terrorism, but anyone could be brainwashed to take innocent lives, whichever religion he may belong to.

It's high time that entire humanity put up a united fight against terrorism," he said.

Referring to the Quran, he said that, "If anyone killed a person, it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind."
