Testing time of teachers' endurance
Adilabad: The LS elections and annual exams of 1st to 10th class are testing the tolerance of the teachers.
They have to attend training classes ahead of Lok Sabha elections and also monitor 10th class exams, commenced from March 16.
For the SSC exams, the teachers will be working as superintendents, custodians, departmental officers and invigilators, besides the responsibility of supervising midday meals.
Annual exams for first to ninth class students will be conducted from March 30 while those of SSC will conclude on April 3
On the other hand, the first phase of election training has begun for the LS poll, which is on April 11.
Orders in this regard were passed on to the district
officials.
The Election Commission also organises training classes to those teachers, who were appointed as presiding officers and assistant presiding officers, which will be normally during exam time.
At a time when the SSC exams are coming to conclude, high school teachers also obliged to attend the election training classes.
For Lok Sabha polls scheduled on April 11, the teachers have to report on April 10th one day before the elections.
After elections, the teachers must compulsorily attend the schools on April 12 as it was the last day of the academic year 2018-2019.
Not only this, the teachers must start evaluation of 10th class answer sheets from April 15.
Many teachers have expressed disappointment that they do not have time to spend time with family members.
Overall, the teachers who go to school regularly have expressed the burden of a severe work.
