The Telangana Cultural Aura in Mexico

Hyderabad: The Aura of Telangana Culture has flourished in Mexico, the Latin American Country. Mexicans have celebrated with Batukamma which is the symbol of Telangana Culture.

They prepared Batukamma on their own and danced as Telanganites do. The entire programme was carried out through Photo Exhibition cum Batukamma Programme. The Photographs and videos of the bonalu and batukamma become an eye feast to the guests. Under the leadership of Ramesh, Coordinator, TITA International Culture and Tourism, the Department of Culture of Government of Mexico in collaboration with Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) have organized this programme as a part of cultural exchange on Friday.

Ramesh, Coordinator, TITA International Culture and Tourism have taken up the programme Batukamma, the Telangana Flower festival under cultural exchange programme. 30 Mexicans have come forward and learned the preparation of Batukamma. These 30 Mexicans have prepared a beautiful Batukamma on their own and celebrated the festival. They have expressed their happiness saying that the Telangana culture has specific identity among Indian Culture.

In this eve, Sundeep Kumar Maktala, Global President, TITA addressing the gathering said that, they are working hard to spread the culture of Telangana internationally. He also said that during his visit to Mexico in 2018 they have learned about the culture and Education system of Mexico. Along with this we have also explained about the Telangana culture to the elite people of Mexico. After his visit to Mexico, many programmes have been initiated in several places. With the celebration of present Batukamma Sambaraalu, the State of Telangana stood first in cultural exchange programme with Mexico on behalf of India.

In this occasion, Ramesh, the representative of TITA has expressed that the Mexicans have shown keen interest and learned about the Batukamma Sambaraalu. They also made them learn the Batukamma dance and about bonalu. The interest of Mexicans towards Telangana Culture made them immensely happy. He also mentioned that he is ready to explain about the Telangana Culture to the people of different countries, who are interested.

The Photo Exhibition on Telangana Culture is being organized till 10th April at San Louis, Mexico. The Photos, Videos, Language, Yoga Mudra Meditation of Telangana Sate is being exhibited through this exhibition. They have also exhibited the Biography of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation. Mexico Cultural Secretary Armando Herrera, San Louis, TITA International Tourism and Culture Coordinator Ramesh Salveru, Museum Director Xavier's Acosta, Jesus Garsia Karona Railrode, TITA Mexico Organizing Secretary Arun Mupparam and others participated in the programme.
