Three killed 2 injured as car rams into lorry in Kamareddy
Kamareddy: Three persons were killed and two others grievously injured when the car in which they were travelling lost control and rammed into a lorry, coming from opposite direction on national highway no: 44 near Adloor Yellareddy crossing of Sadashivanagar mandal on Thursday.
Rakesh, his son Abhiram and his family members Raghuram (50), Sunita (45) and Ramadevi (40), residents of Vanashalipuram, Hyderabad, were on their way to Basara in Nirmal district for performing 'Aksharabhyasam'.
The car going on a high-speed lost control, hit the divider and then hit a lorry coming in opposite direction. With the collision the lorry burst into fire as the car crashed into the diesel tank.Firefighters reached the scene and extinguished the fire.
Raghuram, Sunita and Ramadevi died on the spot while Rakesh and his son Abhiram were seriously injured.
The injured were shifted to Kamareddy Government Hospital. Rakesh was rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad as his condition was serious.
