Nalgonda: Three killed in separate road accidents

Bhongir/Nalgonda: Three persons were killed in two separate accidents that happened in Yadadri-Bhongir and Nalgonda districts on Monday. In the first incident which took place at Hanumapuram of Bhongir mandal, two youngsters, Jinna Murali (18) and Maturi Shashikanth (20), were killed.

According to sources and the police, Jinna Murali of Timmapuram of Bhongir mandal took part in Durgamma festival celebrations held in the village on Sunday. On Monday morning, while going to drop Shashikanth at Bhongir town, Murali's bike was hit by a speeding lorry coming in opposite direction at Hanumapuram.

In this incident, the duo suffered serious injuries and died on the spot. The police shifted the dead bodies to government area hospital in Bhongir for post-mortem. Based on the complaint of the kin of the deceased, Bhongir Rural SI Raghavendra filed a case and took up the investigation.

In another road accident that took place at Gasiram Thanda of Chintapally mandal in Nalgonda district, Naresh (24) who was heading towards Venkatampeta from Konda Mallepally died on the spot when lorry coming in opposite direction hit his bike.

Naresh dead body was shifted to government hospital in Devarakonda for post-mortem. Local SI Shankar Reddy registered a case based on complaint of family members of the deceased and took up the investigation.
