Three new wards inaugurated in Gadwal hospital

ZP Chairman Sarita inaugurating new wards in Government Hospital in Gadwal on Friday.

Gadwal: Zilla Parishad Chairperson K Saritha, along with District Collector Sruthi Ojha and MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy has inaugurated three wards - Hepatitis, Paediatric and special Covid wards – here on Friday. These three wards were set up as part of District Hospital upgradation.

ZP Chairperson Saritha said that before the formation of Gadwal district, people have to go to Kurnool for any kind of health problems. But after the district formation, facilities at the government hospital have been improved providing all kinds of advanced facilities and patients can get advanced treatment facilities here only, she added.

MLA Krishna Mohan said the State government is giving highest priority for public healthcare and releasing funds liberally for providing facilities in government hospitals and making available all kinds of medicines to the public free of cost in the government hospitals.

Alampur MLA Dr VM Abraham and Assistant Collector Sri Harsha were also present on the occasion.
