Tiger found dead in farm in Asifabad

A full-grown tiger was found dead in a farm in Podisham village of Maharashtra border near Sirpur (T) of Komaram Bheem-Asifabad district on Sunday.

Farmers who noticed the carcass in the cotton farm has alerted the local forest officials who further called up the forest range officials of Maharashtra. The officials reached the spot to probe the matter. The reason for the Tiger death is yet to be ascertained.

On August 16, a male 14-year-old white tiger died at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad after suffering from multiple tumours.
