Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao on Monday stated that the leaders at the Centre concentrated on their native States and never bothered about Telangana. He said that time has come when Telangana should show its strength to the Centre.

Rama Rao was addressing a road show at Moosapet under Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency along with TRS MP Candidate M Rajasekhar Reddy. Rama Rao commented on the Congress party's new slogan 'Ab Nyay Hoga' and questioned, "I want to ask what they were doing for 71 years?"

Rama Rao recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to create 10 crore jobs in five years and also promised to bring back black money. He alleged that nothing was delivered and accused the Modi government of implementing demonetisation without taking necessary precautions and looting the hard-earned savings of the poor.

He said, "if you vote for the Congress, Rahul Gandhi will be benefitted and if you vote for the BJP, Narendra Modi will be benefitted. But if you vote for TRS, people of Telangana will receive the benefits."

Talking about Congress candidate from Malkajgiri constituency, Rama Rao said that Revanth Reddy lost the election in Kodangal and is trying his luck in Malkajgiri. He also stated that Revanth Reddy was rejected by people of his own district.

Appealing to the people to vote for the TRS, Rama Rao said, "Marri Rajasekhar Reddy is a localite and knows your problems. He will resolve all the issues in the area." He asked them to choose their leader wisely.

Winning 16 parliamentary seats will make Telangana a decision-making force in the Centre he said. He appealed to the crowds to go and cast their vote on April 11.
