TITA celebrates Telangana formation day celebrations in Mexico

Mexico: As part of the Telangana State Formation Day, Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Mexico chapter has celebrated the event in San Luis Potassi, Mexico grandly. Telangana natives residing in Mexico and locals have participated in the colorful event in large numbers. The event played as an introduction of Telangana culture to the locals in Mexico and created a cultural bond. Telangana government officials who participated in the event appreciated the efforts.

The event started with a flag march of Indian and Mexico flags which was held in Municipal Palace Plaza. A photo exhibition of Telangana tourism spots was organized which would continue up to June 14 in San Luis Potassi. San Luis Potassi School Education & State Dance School Director Mrs. Elda Ozuna Martinez Jephutura attended as the guest of honor for the 5th Telangana Formation Day event. Other officials also attended the event. TITA International Culture and Tour Coordinator Mr S Ramesh explained about the history, culture and tourism of Telangana state. He said that cultural and tourism road shows would be held in different Latin American cities in coming days.

A digital message of TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala was read by TITA Mexico Coordinator Mrs Marisela Rodrigued to the audience. Mexico Department of Culture Director Mrs Elda Ozuana on this occasion said that Telangana natives celebrate the event greatly and appreciated the history of capital city Hyderabad. She further said that besides the grandeur of history, Hyderabad was now recording a remarkable development attracting people across the world. She appreciated the efforts of TITA and said that it was a good sign to create a bond between Mexico and Telangana. She said that India-Mexico relations will get a boost by virtue of such events.

A cultural program, song and dance was organized at the end of the event. Bathukamma songs and others were displayed by the students from Telangana. Similarly, Mexico native dance performances were also presented. Mrs Mirna Loyera Lopez presented the vote of thanks.
