TJS members join TRS
Mahbubnagar: The Telangana Jana Samithi led by Professor Kodandaram received a big jolt in Mahbubnagar as its district president Rajender Reddy joined the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the presence of Excise and Tourism Minister Srinivas Goud at a function organised in the district on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the TJS party has been slowly becoming redundant as the people of the State were giving full support to TRS impressed by the both welfare and development projects taken up by the government.
The people have now realised that it is only the TRS party that has the guts to make Telangana a golden Telangana, while all those others are just pointing figures doing nothing for the welfare of the State.
"We are expecting the opposing parties to be more responsible and come out with constructive suggestions to help the government in taking up the development projects in a big way. But all these years, what we have seen is these parties are becoming stumbling blocks in the way of development," alleged Srinivas Goud.
He said majority people are with the TRS party in the State and because of the people's support, the TRS party had got a better mandate from earlier elections.
We are determined to complete all the pending, ongoing and new irrigation projects in the district and will not rest until each and every acre of land in erstwhile Mahbubnagar is irrigated with Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation project waters.
"As stressed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao recently, we will definitely complete the PRRLI project in time and fulfil our promise soon," said the Minister.
On the occasion, many TJS leaders along with Rajender Reddy joined the TRS party while Srinivas Goud welcomed them by felicitating them with TRS party Kanduvas.
