Touchless kiosks, social distancing; Hyderabad airport gears up to resume flights
Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) is all set to resume flight operations from Monday along with the special measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The special measures include touchless kiosks for boarding pass, sanitization of baggage trolleys, thermal scanners and social distancing. The passengers will be disinfected in the disinfection tunnel and during the documentation process, they have to display the documents in front of the scanner.
Later, the CISF personnel will conduct the verification process without getting close to the passengers.
As per the guidelines, the authorities have also set up a facility to isolate suspected the passengers with suspected coronavirus symptoms at the airport. The special measures also include the technology-based contact less boarding for the passengers at all passenger touchpoints.
