Tourist spot to come up at Baswapur dam
Hyderabad: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud on Monday directed the officials to draw plans for bringing up a world class tourism destination at Baswapur near the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri.
The tourism minister said that the chief minister has allocated 90 acres of land for Baswapur reservoir near the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri.
The Baswapur reservoir would always have water after the completion of Kaleshwaram project. Yadadri district collector has handed over land to the Tourism department for bringing up amenities.
The minister asked the department officials to talk to tourism experts and bring up a great recreational facility as the area would be popular after the completion of Yadadri temple.
Apart from this, the minister directed officials to develop tourism spots near the Shameerpet Lake with private partnership. He also reviewed some of the works taken up under public-private partnership.
