Tatiparthi Jeevan Reddy is a senior Congress leader who needs no introduction in Telangana politics. As Jeevan Reddy, who is known as a flawless leader in politics for 40 years, Congress party leaders are in thoughts of giving this ace political leader a wonderful birthday gift… Will it be the 'TPCC President' post???

Jeevan Reddy, who entered into politics in 1981, was first elected president of the 'Malayala Panchayat Samiti'. Then, he won as MLA for six times and bagged minister post for two times. Currently, he is the Karimnagar Graduate MLC. Despite the news that the party has finalized the supremacy of Jeevan Reddy as the Telangana PCC president, the Congress party ranks are describing the coincidence coming together on his birthday as well.

There were rumours that one from the Congress leaders Revant Reddy and Komatireddy Venkatereddy will be chosen as TPCC president. But, according to the sources, Sonia Gandhi will take a final decision on the matter on Tuesday afternoon. However, the latest information is that Sonia Gandhi also signed the appointment letter on Monday night regarding the selection of Jeevan Reddy as the TPCC president.

It is learned that Jeevan Reddy had called on the party leadership a week ago to discuss this matter. State in-charge Manikkam Tagore called him to come to Delhi urgently, but his followers say that Jeevan Reddy has already left for Delhi. However, it is learned that there was a discussion in the party on the issue of financial strength required for the management of the party. Although Jeevan Reddy is known as a good leader of the people, the issue of financial resources required for the management of the party has also been mentioned. However, Congress sources said that party leaders felt that some of the leaders were in favour. With this, the announcement that Jeevan Reddy has been selected as the new PCC chief is a formality.
