Nirmal: Deputy Superintendent of Police Upendar Reddy asked the people to be careful while driving as the number of people dying due to accidents is more than the natural deaths. He spoke at a traffic awareness camp at RK Convention in Nirmal on Monday.

The chief guest, Upendar Reddy, wanted the people to maintain relevant documents like RC book, insurance, driving license and pollution papers with them. He told them not to drive their vehicle in drunken state at any time and to follow traffic rules to prevent accident.

Everyone should wear helmet while driving a two-wheeler. Such awareness camps will help to create awareness among the people, he observed. Police will conduct drunk and drive checkup to prevent road accidents, he said.

Police inspectors John Diwakar, Srinivas Reddy, SIs Santosh Singh, traffic police, vehicle drivers and others were present.
