Trained teachers' stage dharna at CM's residence in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A group of trained teachers and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) including women on Wednesday staged a dharna at Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. They were demanding the government to release the results of TRT and PET posts in the State.
Tense situation prevailed for some time as the protests caused traffic jam on Begumpet route. They entered into an argument with police, who tried to prevent them. They were taken into custody later. Earlier, the trained teachers shouted slogans against KCR and demanded him to resolve their issues immediately. The government issued notifications to fill the posts of teachers and PETs in 2017. Though tests were conducted, results are not declared so far, they deplored.
