Transco negligence claims farmer's life in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Transco negligence claimed yet another life in Nizamabad district. Gaddam Naveen (30), a farmer from Gangasamundar village of Nandipet mandal, went to his farm at 5 am on Friday and died due to electric shock as current was passing through earthing from the transformer near his farm lands.

The deceased was survived by wife Sumalatha (29) and two daughters Rithika (7) and Sreshta (3).

Nandipet mandal police station house officer registered a case and investigation is on.

This is the third death in the last 10 days in Nizamabad district due to the negligence of electricity department.
