Transform Kaleswaram site a la Brindavan Gardens: CM KCR to babus
Hyderabad : On the lines of Brindavan Gardens in Mysore, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to take advantage of the barrages and reservoirs constructed as part of the Kaleswaram Project and develop tourism places and spots all over the State.
The CM wanted tourism centres development planning all over the state should be prepared after the identification of the places conducive to travel and tourism.
At a review meeting at Pragati Bhavan here on Saturday, he said with barrages constructed as part of the Kaleswaram project, Godavari waters will be available in abundance for several hundred kms.
Water will be available in the river and canals all through the year. There is a dense forest area on either side of the river. Boating can be done on the river.
A lot of land is also available with the government at barrages, pump houses and reservoirs under the project, KCR said fountain musical water parks can also be created on the line of Brindavan Gardens in Mysore.
Holy places like Basar, Dharmapuri, Kaleswaram, Gudem Satyanarayana Swamy, Koti Lingala, Parnasala and Bhadrachalam and coalmines in Ramagundam and Mancherial along Kaleshwaram project can also be promoted as tourism spots, he added.
