Tribals submit pleas seeking drinking water in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: A few members of tribal community took part in the Girijana Darbar programme held at Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) office on Monday. Due to the local body elections in the seven mandals in the district, many of the tribals did not attend the programme.

The people who attended appealed to the officers to make arrangements for providing drinking water to their villages.

They said, due to severe summer, the people were facing acute shortage of drinking water in their villages. The unit officials received the pleas and assured the tribals of addressing their problems as early as possible.
