TRS bags 436 MPP president posts

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti has won huge number of Mandal Parishad president posts to which indirect election has been held on Friday as it won 436 out of the 538 MPPs.

The Congress came second with 53 president posts, Bharatiya Janata Party was in third place with eight and others won seven. The results have been kept pending in 33 Mandal Parishads.

According to the information available, TRS won 10, Congress 3 and others 1 in Adilabad district out of the 17 Mandal Parishads. Out of the 21 MPPs of Kothagudem district TRS won 14, Congress got one, and others secured one.

TRS won 15 of the 15 MPPs of Asifabad district. TRS won 11 out of the 12 MPPs of Janagaon district and Congress got one MPP.

The ruling party bagged 13 out of the 20 MPPs of Medak district whereas Congress has won 4 and others got one.

In Medchal district, the TRS won 3 of the five MPPs and in Nalgonda district the ruling party won 22 out of the 31 MPPs and Congress secured 6. Out of the 27 MPPs of Nizamabad district the TRS got 24 and BJP won one MPP.

The ruling party bagged all the 23 MPPs of Siddipet district and 13 out of 13 MPPs of Peddapalli district, 19 of the 23 MPPs of Suryapet district whereas the Congress won 3 in this district.

In Sanga Reddy district, the ruling party bagged 19 of the 23 MPPs and Congress won 6. In Vikarabad district, the ruling party got 14 out of 18 MPPs and the Congress secured 4. Similarly, in Bhongiri district, the ruling party won 12 of the 17 MPPs and Congress won four.

The ruling party bagged 13 of the 14 MPPs of Wanaparthy and others secured one. In Ranga Reddy district the TRS won 13, Congress won five, BJP got one MPP out of the 21 MPPs.

Out of the 16 MPPs of the Mancherial district, the TRS won 14 and Congress got one. Out of the 14 MPPs of the Mahbubnagar district the ruling party won 11 and Congress secured one.

In Karimnagar district 15 of the 15 MPPs have gone in favour of TRS. In Kamareddy district, 19 of the 22 MPPs have gone to TRS and one gone to Congress. The ruling party won 14 out of the 16 MPPs of Mahabubabad district.

In Jagtial district, the ruling party secured 15 out of 18 MPPs and Congress got one. In Khammam district 18 of the 20 MPPs have gone in favour of TRS and in Bhupalapalli five have gone to TRS and three to Congress.

Out of the 20 MPPs of Nagarkurnool district, 17 gone to TRS and two to Congress. In Warangal Rural, 16 out of the 16 MPPs have gone to TRS and in Warangal Urban also it has got seven of the seven MPPs.

In Gadwal district, 11 of the 12 MPPs have gone to TRS and one to Congress. In Mulugu district six of the eight have gone to TRS and two to Congress. TRS got 8 of the 11 MPPs of Narayanapet district and Congress got one.
