TRS candidates file nominations

Mahbubnagar: TRS' P Ramulu and Manne Srinivas Reddy on Friday filed their nominations for the Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituencies respectively.

In the afternoon both these candidates along with the supporters and party activists approached the Returning Offices (ERO) at Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar and enthusiastically filed their nominations.

From Mahbubnagar, the TRS party nominee, Manne Srinivas Reddy, filed his nominations paper to the district Returning Officer Ronald Rose.

The TRS nominee was accompanied by Srinivas Goud, Minister for Prohibition and Excise, Ala Venkateshwar Reddy, Devarkadra MLA, Patnam Narender Reddy, MLA from Kodangal and others were present during the nomination process at the district Collectorate.

Similarly in Nagarkurnool, TRS candidate P Ramulu submitted his nominations to the Retuning Officer E Sridhar.

He was accompanied by Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy, ex minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Marrijanardhan Reddy, MLA Nagarkurnool, Guvvalabalaraju, MLA Achampet and Abraham MLA from Alampur along with the TRS party activists participated in the nomination programme.

While speaking during the nomination of Manne Srinivas Reddy in Mahbubnagar, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud said, "All these days the people of Mahbubnagar elected non-local candidates as their MP.

However, with TRS party fielding Manne Srinivas Reddy, it is for the first time the people of the district are getting an opportunity to elect a person of their own region."
