TRS continues victory spree, wins local polls

Medak: The victory continued for the TRS party in old Medak district. TRS got 18 ZPTCs and 117 MPTCs in Medak, while Congress got two ZPTCs and 43 MPTCs and others bagged 29 MPTCs.

In Siddipet district, TRS bagged 22 ZPTCs and 153 MPTCs. Congress got one ZPTC and 28 MPTCs while BJP won four MPTC seats others got 43 MPTCs. In Sangareddy district, the ruling party won in 20 ZPTCs and 177 MPTCs while Congress got five ZPTCs and 101 MPTCs and others got 15 MPTCs. In this district also BJP got two MPTC seats.

Though the wave of TRS party continued in Sangareddy district, Congress gained upper hand in Zaheerabad region. Congress won 40 MPTCs out of total 80 restricting TRS to 36. Remaining four seats were won by independents. Out of five ZPTCs, Congress got three and TRS won in two seats.
