TRS downfall has begun: Kodandaram

Nalgonda: Telangana Jana Samithi founder president Professor Kodandaram felt that downfall starts if anybody wants to suppress the people's movement. Addressing the media in Suryapet on Friday, he stated that Lok Sabha election results in the State were a tight slap in the face of the ruling TRS party which could bag single digit seats.

"The TRS has lost its glory in Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad in north Telangana where it had a strong base," said Kodandaram.

He criticised that TRS has witnessed people's anguish within four months of formation of government due to K Chandrashekar Rao's arrogant politics.

"The pink party has paid heavy price due to delay in cabinet announcement, lack of administration and ignoring people's issues," he said.

He appreciated farmers of Nizamabad district for elevating their issues at national level by contesting from Nizamabad LS constituency.

Stating that adivasis in Mahbubnagar and Adilabad districts have been fighting for their rights on forest lands, he informed that TJS will soon launch an agitation to realise the dreams of tribals.

Party district leaders Venkat Reddy, Darmarjun Reddy, Ramashankar and others attended the press meet.
