TRS govt. should investigate rohingyas enrolment in voter list: Smriti Irani
Union Minister for Textiles Smriti Irani asked the TRS government to investigate rohingyas enrollment in the voter list for GHMC election. "If the TRS government can investigate on rohingyas, the central government is ready to take action'" she said.
Speaking at the BJP office in Hyderabad, the union minister said that TRS along with MIM is making use of rohingyas by enrolling them in the voter list. "Around 75,000 rohingyas are residing in Hyderabad," she said.
She also said that TRS and MIM is a corrupt alliance which deprived development of Old City and now is making use of the illegal voters. "The MIM party had already asked the central government to include rohingyas in the voter list trying to weaken the country from within," she said.
She also blamed the TRS government for not letting the central schemes being implemented in the state. "The centre has accorded Rs 1,920 crore to Telangana for the development of the textile industry which provided employement of 10,000 people," she said.
