Warangal: Former SAAP Director Rajanala Srihari, who joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) eight months ago, has formally enrolled as an active member of that party in the presence of MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy in Hyderabad on Thursday. It may be mentioned here that Rajanala Srihari, who was the Greater Warangal Congress Working President, ended his 28-year-long association with the Congress in November last year. Since then he has been working with the TRS and strived hard for the party's win in the Assembly and the Parliament elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy told Rajanala Srihari to strive hard in strengthening the party base from grassroot level. In response, Rajanala Srihari assured that he would ensure Warangal as the number one in the membership drive of the TRS. "The TRS government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has become a beacon for other States in the country. Several schemes and programmes initiated by KCR have become benchmarks.

Even the Narendra Modi-led Central Government have copied several welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu introduced by KCR," Rajanala Srihari said. Referring to the ongoing TRS membership drive, he said that all credit goes to party working president KT Rama Rao. He said that TRS party is way ahead compared to other political parties in Telangana and it will remain in power for another two decades.
