TRS killed 16 Inter students for 16 LS seats: BJP
Karimnagar: The TRS government took the lives of 16 students as it is more concentrated on winning 16 Lok Sabha seats, rather than on State affairs after winning the Assembly elections, alleged BJP State official spokesperson Bandi Sanjay Kumar BJP leaders and cadre, led by B Sanjay Kumar, tried to lay seige to the Regional Intermediate Office at Padma Nagar in Karimnagar city on Thursday, in protest against the irregularities that took place in Intermediate results.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar criticised that the State government had violated several norms and handed over the responsibility of intermediate results to Globarena Technologies Private Limited, which belongs to one of the closest associates of TRS working president of KT Rama Rao.
Earlier, the data processing was handled by the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), while the processing of the results was carried out by another private agency.
But the State government and Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), by violating norms, handed over this responsibility to an inexperienced company Globarena Technologies Pvt Ltd, which
is the root cause for all the discrepancies that occurred.
The BJP leader alleged that being the Chief Minister of the State, K Chandrashekar Rao must take the responsibility for all the irregularities that took place in the TSBIE and must provide Rs 25 lakhs financial assistance to the families of every student, who committed suicide after the results were announced. He demanded conducting a judicial enquiry with High Court sitting judge into the scam of Intermediate results and take stringent action against those officials, who played with the lives of around 10 lakh intermediate students.
As many as 300 BJP activists and senior leaders tried to lay seize the RIO office and the police interrupted them and arrested Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Basa Satyanarayana along with Dalit Morcha State general secretary Gaddam Nagaraju and other leaders.
BJP leaders Rajendar Reddy, Gopi, Gotte Murali Krishna, Sampath Rao, M Ramana Reddy, T Srinivas Goud, B Naresh, B Praveen Rao, Raja Reddy, Mahendar Reddy, D Sampath, D Ramana Reddy and Ratan Kumar were present along with others.
