TRS leader's gesture to poor students

Chaitanyapuri: TRS party leader Sonti Chandrasekhar Reddy distributed books and sports equipment purchased by him to the students of government school in Indiranagar Colony on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Reddy said that he would always be ready to come to the rescue of poor students. He recalled that during a meeting with L B Nagar MLA D Sudhir Reddy, it was pointed out that instead of offering him shawls and bouquets, the money could be spent on purchasing books to poor students. Hence, he had taken up distribution of books and sports equipment during the day.

The TRS leader appealed to the people to go to the rescue of students in government schools in their areas. He urged voluntary organizations to provide basic facilities in the government schools.School teachers Venugopal, Rohini, Prasad, Narender Reddy, R K Santosh Yadav, Krishna, Shravan Kumar, Madhu and Jalandhar were present on the occasion.
