TRS membership drive is like a festival: MLA Kamalakar

Karimnagar: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is striving hard for the wellbeing of all sections of people present across the State, said Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar, participating as a chief guest at the membership drive held in 1st division in Karimnagar city on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the membership drive is going on like a festival in every division in Karimnagar city and in the State. Many people voluntarily taking the membership of the TRS.

Stating that the party's target is to register 50,000 people as members from every constituency by July 10, he said it seems the target will cross in Karimnagar district after observing the enormous response from the people here and may record highest membership in the State.

All sections of people including women, farmers and students are showing interest to join the TRS. It is happy to see many women asking for membership to them, he informed.

MLA Kamalakar said that there is no alternative for TRS in the State. Every person in Telangana treating TRS as their own party, which is striving hard by introducing number of welfare schemes for all.

Former corporators Sunil Rao,G Kalyani, Srinivas, Deputy Mayor Guggilla Ramesh and Challa Harish Shankar were present along with others.
