TRS-MIM turned politics a pvt enterprise: BJP

Hyderabad: BJP Bengaluru South MP and BJYM national president Tejaswi Surya mounted a vitriolic attack on TRS and All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen(AIMIM) calling them running politics a private enterprise.

Attending as the chief guest for the 'Change Hyderabad,' with a theme of "Marpu Kosam Janam and Janam Kosam BJP" (People for a change and BJP for People) here on Monday, he criticised that there was no good governance in Telangana State. "People see in one election the face of CM KCR, in another that of Minister KTR and in yet another, the face of Minister T Harish Rao. When it comes to GHMC elections, the faces surface are of Owaisi brothers ¬– Asadduddin and Akbaruddin.

The family-owned parties in Telangana and Hyderabad have rewritten the very definition of democracy as "of the family, by the family, and for the family."

He said the entire country was watching Hyderabad and asked its denizens to support the BJP for its rapid and overall development.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy said that the corruption- ridden dynastic politics had been crumbling down everywhere in the country. Haryana, UP, Bihar, Karnataka are a few to name as examples. Because youth and people in the country wanted democratic governance and development. He said that his party wanted to take up constructive approach to develop Hyderabad with a vision into a global city.

Taking a dig at Minister KT Rama Rao said that it was the TRS which had been siding with Owaisi brothers known for making sacrilegious statements against Hindu gods and goddesses. He said that it was the trade of TRS-MIM to create communal discord among people for political benefits.

State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar appealed to the people of Hyderabad that they had earlier given a chance to Congress, TDP and TRS, and the deplorable result was there for all to see. He urged them to give one chance to BJP to prove itself and fulfil the promises. Saying that TRS was not in the habit of winning elections democratically, he asked people to support BJP to end the divisive and communal politics of TRS-MIM.

"No roads, no basic amenities, no water, no double bedroom houses, no jobs, the TRS has failed people of Telangana on all fronts." He promised to make Old City a Bhagyanagar, whereas the TRS-MIM combine was trying to turn Bhagyanagar into an Old City.

He warned the TRS and CM KCR not to provoke BJP, its leaders and cadre. The AIMIM is trying to turn 40,000 Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, illegally staying in the city, into vote banks, the TRS is supporting such a party. He also dared the TRS chief to go in person and campaign for his party contestants in the Old City if his party had not really forged an alliance with the Majlis.
