TRS MLA served notices for violating COVID-19 norms
TRS MLA from Sirpur-Kagaznagar, Koneru Konappa has been served notices by the Telangana government for disobeying the COVID-19 protocol.
The government has asked the MLA to remain in home quarantine along with his wife after he returned from the US three days ago. However, he violated the protocol and attended the municipal council meetings.
On learning it, the district collector Sandeep Kumar Jha asked the MLA and his family to stay under home quarantine for 14 days and also directed the officials to identify the people who got in touch with the MLA and his family members.
Meanwhile, the MLA's act drew flak from people for disobeying the norms being an elected representative. People also lashed out at the health authorities and district officials for allowing the MLA to move freely among the public.
