TRS MLA's wife along with three others test positive for coronavirus

After the TRS MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy tested positive for coronavirus, four others including his wife, cook, driver and gunman were found to be infected with the coronavirus. All were shifted to the private hospital for treatment.

On Saturday, the Jangaon MLA tested positive for coronavirus. Reddy is said to have shown the symptoms of coronavirus and was admitted to hospital. Soon after he was found to be infected with the virus, his family members and primary contacts were tested and four of them tested positive.

The MLA is believed to have contracted the virus when he attended a few events in his constituency including the Telangana formation day celebrations and opening of a sub-station.

Meanwhile, the district Medical and Health Officer, Dr Mahendar Reddy asked the people who came in contact with the MLA to self-isolate and undergo COVID-19 tests.
