Hyderabad: TRS Parliamentary party leader K Keshava Rao on Tuesday agreed for mediation between government and RTC workers.

In an informal chat with media here, Keshava Rao clarified that neither state government has asked him to take up discussion with workers nor he had called the union leaders for talks. "If it benefits the workers I will be ready to mediate. It is good the workers are positive for having conversations with me. I am trying to talk to the chief minister but I am yet to get in touch with him. I am a socialist, I will always be with workers and not with the State," said Keshava Rao.

The TRS leader also had suggestion to the employees. He said the employees should not quarrel among themselves, they should be united. He also said if government wants to merge RTC, he would not have any objection. However, he said the merger was impossible. "I don't know what is the intention of the government. If that is known, the problem will get solved," said Rao.
