TRS MPs seek clearance of pending railway projects
Khammam: The floor leader of the TRS in Lok Sabha Nama Nageswara Rao and parliamentary party leader K Keshava Rao and other MPs met Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday in Delhi.
They brought to his notice various railway projects pending in the Telangana State, especially Kazipet coach factory. The TRS MPs made an appeal for extension of railway line from Pandurangapuram to Sarapaka.
Similarly, extension of railway lines from Munirabad to Mahbubanagar, Secunderabad to Mahbubnagar and Gadwal to Raichur.
They requested the minister to sanction new railway lines from Patancheru to Sangareddy and Jogipet to Medak. Also, MPs impressed upon him to clear all pending projects at the earliest.
