TRS Pucca Local Party: KTR

Hyderabad: Your vote is very powerful. It is for you to decide whether you want Hyderabad which belongs to all or Hyderabad for a few? This was the question which the TRS working president posed to people during his road shows on Saturday.

KTR was focussed in his brief speeches. He said TRS believes in the concept of "Sare Jamane Ko Saath Lekar Chalo." It had made this promise during the struggle for separate Telangana and had kept its word. But now "some new beggars," want to play divisive politics. They want to divide people based on region and religion. They are unable to digest the fact that people have been living peacefully. Hence it is for you the voters to decide whether we should allow such forces to succeed or not.

He said people of Hyderabad were not innocent people like those of Ahmedabad. They are "Hoshiar" (intelligent) and know "Hyderabad sab ka Hai" (It belongs to all). He said people had demonstrated this during the struggle for separate T state and also during all elections since TRS came to power. Vote for TRS if you are satisfied with what we have done. Problems are not over, a lot more needs to be done and it can become reality only under the TRS rule, he said.

During his road shows in Kukatpally and Qutubullapur, KTR said he was surprised to see the very law-makers who passed the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act in Parliament imposing heavy fines for traffic violations saying that they will waive off challans here.

These new breeds of politicians, he said, have nothing concrete to offer. If you ask TRS what we had done for the city, we can list at least 100 achievements.

Let them come out with what they did for the city. They could not even get a rupee more from the Centre. KTR asked Union Minister of State G Kishan Reddy to list out what he did for his constituency as Central minister. He said people should not fall prey to false promises being made by the BJP. If narrow political gains are allowed to succeed, it would have an impact on the future generations and the image of brand Hyderabad would suffer a serious setback. "Today major global companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon invested in Hyderabad because there is peace and harmony here. If this is disturbed, no company will come forward to invest here and our youth will lose job opportunities," he said.
