Nalgonda: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that Congress MLC candidate for Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal Graduates constituency Sabavath Ramulu Naik would question the government on graduates problems if he gets elected as MLC whose election to be held on March 14.

Uttam and Komati on Wednesday took part in the election campaign meeting held at Nalgonda. Addressing the gathering, they stated that the Congress was the only party that has a clear picture on issues of Telangana.

"Hundreds of students sacrificed their lives for the Statehood movement, and by mounting pressure on the high command, the Telangana Congress leaders played a crucial role in the formation of separate Telangana State," they reminded.

The aspirations of Telangana martyrs and wishes of people of the state have been pushed into the cold storage by the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi and added that only Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's family got employment in separate State, they alleged.

They urged the graduate voters to teach a fitting lesson to TRS, adding that it would work carefully for the remaining two years of its rule if questioning voices get elected to the council.

Lashing out TRS candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, they said that Rajeshwar had not questioned the government even once in the last six years over the need of appointment of vice-chancellors to State universities.

"Palla Rajeshwar Reddy became a clerk of Chief Minister to see his money matters after he has given chance to contest MLC seat in last election," they mocked.

MLC candidate Ramulu Naik, District Congress Committee president Shankar Naik, party town president Gummala Mohan Reddy and others participated.
