TRS pushed State into debts: Prof Kodandaram

Tirumalagiri (Suryapet):Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder-president Prof Kodandaram stated that the State government had failed in all fronts. Speaking to the media at Tirumalagiri on Sunday, he said that the government itself directed the farmers to cultivate super fine paddy variety under crop regulatory scheme and now cheating them by not purchasing their produce.

He criticised the State government for pushing the farmers into deep crisis by not providing compensation to the crop loss. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had plunged the surplus Telangana State into debts in a short span of seven years and fired salvos on the TRS government over robbing the people in the name of LRS.

Prof Kodandaram expressed concern over the pitiable condition of the youth, who played a key role in separate Telangana agitation and demanded the government to fill the vacant posts in all departments in the interest of the unemployed. He criticised the TRS government that it had failed in fulfilling the assured free education from KG to PG.

The TJS chief exuded confidence that he will win Graduate MLC seat of Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam constituency with the blessings of the people of this region.

Party leaders Dharmarju, Shankar, Mallaiah, Nagaraju, Babu Mahajan, Parushu Ramulu, Srinu and others were present at the press meet.
