TRS sweeps ZPTC, MPTC polls too

Vikarabad: The ruling party is ahead in the results of Parishad polls, announced here on Tuesday. TRS bagged total eight ZPTC seats out of nine, leaving one to Congress. The pink party gained 139 MPTCs and Congress won 72 and others got nine.

Three counting centres were arranged at Vikarabad, Parigi and Tandur in the district.In Rangareddy district, TRS won 15 ZPTCs and 126 MPTCs while Congress got five ZPTCs and 75 MPTCs. Surprisingly independents got one ZPTC and 37 MPTCs.

TRS got four ZPTCs and 20 MPTCs in Medchal district. Congress won only one ZPTC and 12 MPTCs while others won nine MPTC seats only.
