TRS will remain entrenched in power for 25 years

Khammam: Recent election results have clearly shown thatthe TRShas continued to enjoy people's support and with their blessings the party willremain for 25 years, said ZillaParishad Chairman Koram Kanakaiah on Monday.

He was addressing the gathering at the foundation laying ceremony for the district TRS office building in Kothagudem.

Kanakaiah said the welfare and development programmes being implemented by the TRS government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao have ensured welfare and growth of all sections of society.

Ever since the TRS came to power,the Chief Minister has been working hard for the overall growth of the State. The inauguration of Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project in Bhupalpally and Bhakta Ramadasu Project in Khammam are proof of the Chief Minister's commitment to ensure irrigation to one lakh acres in the State, he explained.

Kothagudem MLA VanamaVenkateswar Rao said the TRS government has become a model for many States. Various State governments are following Telangana in implementing welfare measures benefitting the people.

The people of erstwhile Khammam district have already been enjoying the fruits of Bhakta Ramadasu Project which was completed in record time.

Steps would be taken to complete Sitarama Lift Irrigation Project in the district, he added. MLC B Lakshminarayana, former ZP chairpersons B Vasudeva Rao and G Kavitha, TRS State secretary N Naresh Reddy and others were present.
