TRS wins 15 MPPs in Jagtial district

Sircilla/Jagtial: TRS bagge 15 out of 18 MPP seats in Jagtial district for which elections were held on Friday. However, the ruling party lost the MPP seat in Vemulawada Rural mandal to the Independent candidate Banda Mallesham.

In Rajanna Sircilla and Jagitial districts, the elections for Zilla and Mandal Parishad bodies were held in three phases on May 6, May 10 and May 14.

In Rajanna Sircilla district, the elections were held for 12 ZPTC and 123 MPTC seats and in Jagitial district, the polls were conducted for about 18 ZPTC and 214 MPTC seats.

In Rajanna Sirclla district, elections were held for about 12 ZPTC and 123MPTC seats in three phases. While in Jagitial district, elections were held for 18 ZPTC and 214 MPTC seats.

In Rajanna Sircilla district, TRS won 11 ZPTC seats besides 72 MPTC seats, while in Jagitial district TRS won 17 ZPTC in addition to 143 MPTC seats.

In Mandal Parishad President elections that were held on Friday, TRS party won 11 MPP seats in Rajanna Sircilla district out of 13 and the remaining one went to an Independent candidate Banda Mallesham in Vemulawada Rural mandal.

Where as in Jagitial district, TRS won 15 MPPs, and in Sarangapur and Jagitial Urban mandals, elections were postponed but one MPP seat of Beerpur mandal was won by the Congress party.
