TS extends support to cyclone Fani-hit Odisha

Hyderabad: The State government has extended its support in restoration of electricity in cyclone Fani-hit Odisha.
Supply of power was discontinued due to the recent cyclone that ravaged many parts of the East Coast State.
The power transmission was broken down into many parts under the influence of the heavy rains and winds.
On Tuesday, 1,000 Telangana power utilities employees left for Odisha on the request of the State government.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has given instructions to Chief Secretary SK Joshi and Telangana TRANSCO CMD Devulapalli Prabhakar Rao to extent all necessary support to Odisha.
