TS LAWCET, PGLCET-2019 results declared

Hyderabad: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on Sunday declared the results of Telangana State LAWCET and PG LCET--2019.

According to the LAWCET and PG LCET-2019 Convener Prof G B Reddy, Metta Suraj from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh secured first rank in the five-year law course, while Vikas Vashisth from Delhi got the first rank in the three-year law course.

Similarly, Vemugani Tharani from Hyderabad secured the first rank in the PG LCET.

Prof Reddy said that total percentage of qualified candidates was 80.80 in the law common entrance examinations.

Out of 19,188 candidates, who appeared for the test, a total of 13,193 were male, 5,993 female and transgender were two.

From among the qualified candidates, as many as 11,025 are male, 4,478 female and one candidate is transgender. Percentage wise girls constitute 74.72 of the total qualified candidates. The qualified percentage of male candidates was 83.57 and transgender 50.

He said in LAWCET three- year course of LLB, out of 13,141 candidates, as many as 10,539 qualified. The qualified percentage was 80.80. From among 10,539, 8,034 were male, while females were 2,504 and one was transgender.

The qualified percentage of male candidate was 83.62, of female it was 70.91 and 50 transgender candidates cleared the test, he added. In regard to the five-year law course, out of 4,179 appeared candidates, 3,130 have qualified.

The qualified percentage is 74.90. The qualified percentage of the male is 75.42 and female is 74.25. Similarly, in PGLCET of LL.M course, Prof Reddy said that Out of 1,868 appeared candidates, 1,835 were qualified.

The qualified percentage is 98.23. The qualified percentage of the male is 97.82, and female is 99.15. The Rank Cards may be downloaded from the web site: https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in, he said.
