TS schemes emerging role models in country

Bahseerabad: Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy has said that the schemes implemented by the state government had become models for rest of the country. She was addressing a meeting after the swearing-in ceremony of chairman, vice-chairman and directors of agriculture market committee here on Sunday.

The Minister urged farmers to utilise schemes like 'Rythu Badhu' and 'Rythu Bheema.' She said that Chief Minister assured that Palamuru-Chevella and other projects would be completed as soon as possible to facilitate irrigation in both Rangareddy and Vikarabad districts. She said the new agriculture market committee should take care of the farmers and see that they should not get disappointed.

MLA Rohith Reddy said he would work for the development of the constituency and sought cooperation from officials and people. He ridiculed the leaders of opposition party for saying inexperience would not fetch results. He said he would develop the constituency irrespective of politics.

The new chairperson of the market yard Aruna Gopal Reddy said she would try to provide amenities and infrastructure in the market with the help of people's representatives and farmers.

TSMSIDC Chairman P Krishna Murthy, Yalala MPP Balesh Guptha, Basheerabad PACS Chairman Ananth Reddy, Tandur municipal former chairperson Sunitha Sampath, Ramu Naik, K Srinivas, Ramalinga Reddy, Narayana Reddy, Dr Sampath and Rajan Goud were present. Meanwhile, MLC Mahender Reddy and ZPTC chairperson Sunitha Mahendar reddy were conspicuous by their absence at the programme.
