TSCHE, KSHEC to work in tandem
Hyderabad: A delegation of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) interacted with the senior officials of the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) on Friday at Thiruvananthapuram to share the best practices.
The TSCHE delegation invited by the Kerala State government interacted with K T Jaleel, Minister of Education and Minority Welfare and Chairman of KSCHE in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Minister appreciated the initiatives being undertaken by the Telangana State government and the TSCHE in the field of Higher Education. He further outlined the fact that the focus of the TSCHE on 'Accreditation and Quality' is noteworthy.
Later, the TSCHE delegation was received by Prof Rajan Gurukkal, Vice-Chairman and Prof Rajan Varughese, Member Secretary and Dr Usha Titus, Principal Secretary, Higher Education and Harita, KSCHE Commissioner of Higher Education, and other officers of the Council.
The officers of KSCHE made a detailed presentation to the visiting TSCHE delegation and also enquired about the activities, initiatives and programmes being undertaken in the State of Telangana.
The two Councils agreed to share information on programmes and also organise workshops in emerging areas of Higher Education.
They also decided to share publications in the quality improvement areas and draw action plans to foster co-operation between the two States in future.
