Warangal: The Kakatiya University (KU), announced the schedule for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE), on Friday, for admission into MBA and MCA courses.

Speaking to media persons at the Department of Commerce and Business Management, the KU Registrar Prof K Purushotham disclosed the schedule of the TSICET-2020.

"The KU which conducted TSICET, 10 consecutive times had earned a good reputation and it will continue to do so."

TSICET-2020 Convenor K Raji Reddy said that the university has taken all the steps to conduct the online examination in 10 regional test centres of Telangana and four in Andhra Pradesh. The test will be conducted on May 20 and 21 this year in three sessions.

The submission and registration of application forms will begin from March 9. The last date for submission and registration of online applications without late fee is April 30.

With a late fee of Rs 500 the candidates could register their applications up to May 6; with a late fee of Rs 2,000 up to May 11 and with an extra charge of Rs 5,000 up to May 16. The applicants can download their hall tickets from May 14 onwards.

The announcement of preliminary key is on May 27 and last date for the submission of objection forms is on June 1. The authorities will release final key and entrance test results on June 12.

There are about 24,000 MBA seats and over 2,000 MCA seats. The number of seats may vary depending on various reasons. Based on last year's data, the number of students registered for the TSICET-2019 is 49,465.

The number of candidates appeared then was 44,561. Of which 41,002 had qualified. Commerce and Business Management Principal Dr K Rajender was present.
