Suryapet: Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy lost mental balance after Telangana Rashtra Samithi lost two MP seats in erstwhile Nalgonda district. On Friday, speaking to the media at a private hotel in Suryapet, Komati exuded confidence that Congress would retain Huzurnagar seat with collective efforts of party main leaders and cadre.

Stating that Uttam Padmavathi is a strong candidate, Komati informed that political differences between the leaders of the party would be discussed and resolved in party in camera meetings.

He said majority TRS leaders were unhappy with attitude of their party chief K Chandrashekar Rao and his son KT Rama Rao and added that comments of TRS leaders Eatala Rajender, Naini Narsimha Reddy and Rasamai Balakishan reflects the grow- ing dissidence in the pink party.

"The State government is giving wide publicity to Mission Bhagiratha but the ground reality is quite different and a majority of villages in the State are struggling for drinking water," he said, alleging that the TRS government was doing robbery in the name Kaleshwaram and Mission Bhagiratha schemes.

The State is reeling under debts due to visionless schemes conceptualized by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao," Komati asserted.

The Congress leaders would fight till the government provides irrigation facility to tail end farmers of Sri Ramsagar project ayacut, the MP informed, and described the court verdict a slap on the State government with regard to construction of new Assembly building.

In this press meet, DCC president Cheviti Venkanna and other leaders participated.
