TSRTC driver dies in road accident in Hyderabad

A TSRTC driver died after allegedly being hit by an unknown vehicle in the wee hours on Saturday here at Kothwalguda on the Outer Ring Road (ORR). He was identified as Lingam Goud.

Lingam Goud was working as a driver at Medchal depot and is a resident of Madhura Nagar in Shamshabad. Passersby found Goud lying dead on the road and alerted the police who reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.

The police said that the driver was hit an overspeeding vehicle and died on the spot. They booked a case of hit and run and are verifying the nearby CCTV cameras to trace the vehicle.

Earlier this week, a 19-year-old youngster died in the accident after he fell on the road from a tractor. He was identified as M Krishna, a resident of Balapur. Krishna was going on a tractor along with his friend Narsimhulu on a tractor. He fell off the tractor while passing through Balapur road and succumbed to serious head injuries.
